"Throughout human history, healers of
every culture have recognized an essential factor in getting well
that we have largely overlooked in our modern high tech approaches.
The missing element is the compassion and caring that takes place
between a healer and the patient."
- Larry Dossey, M.D. in
the foreward to the book Voices of Integrative Medicine by Bonnie
