Degree, EA, ASA, FSA (preferred) 5-15 years of consulting experience with Fortune 500/1000 firms. You will need expertise in retirement plan strategies, plan administration, design and due diligence support for large firms. You should have experience in:

  • Retirement financial management
  • Actuarial valuations
  • Broad financial and HR counsel on pension plan management issues
  • Estimation of plan liabilities/costs
  • Retirement program design
  • Post-merger program integration
  • Record-keeping services and outsourcing
  • Government filings.
We are looking for the best, the very talented and most aggressive consultant actuaries for our international client who is expanding their east coast retirement operations. They want to add 50 Sr Actuary Consultants to their retirement division in eight major cities. NY metro, Phil, NJ, Charlotte NC, Washington DC, Atlanta GA, Boston MA.

Salaries base $70-175,000 plus up to 40% bonus.

  • The Pharmacy practice operates within specialty resources of the Health & Welfare (H&W) line of business. Minimum of 10+ years experience in the Pharmacy consulting industry

  • Ability to develop strategies and implement programs for large client prescription drug benefit programs
  • Review analysis and design of prescription drug plans

Responsibilities:
  • Employer consulting, financial modeling, pricing/rating or underwriting, new product development, strategic planning,
    and audit support
  • Assisting in financial management of client engagements, project management, gathering and analysis of data, assisting in development of proposals and collateral marketing and sales materials
  • Participating in recruiting, training, mentoring and development of department personnel

Experience/Skills required:

  • Pricing model development, Managed Care/HMO/PPO; Prescription plans, a plus; Health Care experience required, preferable 5-8 years.
  • EA, ASA required
  • FSA preferred
  • Member of American Academy of Actuaries, desired
  • 3 years’ experience in consulting environment; or 5 years’ in a corporate setting with increasing responsibility may be acceptable.
  • Practical experience with the California marketplace, desired; however experience with heavily managed care markets may be acceptable
  • Proven ability to network and respond to new business opportunities
  • Strong analytical, writing and verbal communication and client management skills
  • Effective listening and questioning skills
  • Strong business ethics, work ethic and ability to maintain independence and objectivity in client dealings
  • Adept with Microsoft Excel and Word. Working knowledge of
